The Arc of Carroll County

The Arc of Carroll County recognizes that we need to build a strong coalition of volunteers who can assure that public policy is inclusive of people with disabilities. Each year, a number of bills are proposed that have a direct impact on our industry and the lives of people with disabilities. It is essential that The Arc of Carroll County be active in voicing our beliefs to legislators. The Arc's Legislative Committee is searching for members who are politically astute and are interested in helping to shape public policy and legislation. Members from the committee may be asked to contact legislators, provide testimony on various bills, or help draft legislation that can benefit people with disabilities.
