Novartis Pharmaceuticals Volunteers at The Arc
About 25 volunteers from Novartis Pharmaceuticals spent the morning of August 31 at The Arc on a variety of community service projects. The group washed and detailed vehicles, weeded planting beds, painted a conference room and several hallways, worked with people supported by The Arc in making holiday greeting cards, and conducted mock interviews with people supported in the vocational program to help them exercise their interview skills.
The projects were part of the company's People to People 2011 community service effort.
