The Arc of Carroll County provides educational outreach services to local schools in many areas such as disability awareness, community based outings and community resources. Over the years The Arc has been successful in providing outreach services to local high schools by utilizing The Arc’s instructors as a resource for educating students on career exploration and self-determination.
The Arc of Carroll County is currently subcontracted to teach the subject matter of Career Exploration through the Carroll County Public Schools Transition Connections Program. This program is designed for students 18-21 who can participate in work based learning opportunities.
